ENTERING THE SPEEDWAY

Whether you’re visiting New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the first time or you’re a longtime fan, a little preparation can make race day easier and far more enjoyable. From ticketing and bag checks to parking and entry rules, here’s what to expect before heading to the USA Today 301.

Bag check

All bags and personal items are subject to inspection at the gates. Be familiar with what is permitted–this includes food, drinks, and fan gear in line with speedway policies. Items on the prohibited list will be taken and discarded. In serious cases, attempting to bring in banned items could lead to removal from the venue or even a ban from future events.

Tickets and entry

You’ll need a valid ticket to access the speedway. Buying tickets online is the easiest option and takes just a few minutes. Don’t wait until the last minute–popular categories such as reserved grandstands often sell out. There are also open grandstand areas without reserved seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking information

Parking fills quickly during the USA Today 301, so knowing your options is important.

On-site parking at NHMS:

• General Parking is the most affordable option, but can require a longer walk to the gates.
• Preferred Parking is closer to the entrances, costs a bit more, and offers easier access.

Other options nearby:

• Street parking in the Loudon area is very limited, and restrictions are strictly enforced. Unauthorized parking can result in fines or towing.
• Rideshare and public transit are good alternatives. Services like Uber or Lyft can drop you off near the entrances, and local transport runs during major events.

Parking lot opening times

For the USA Today 301, parking lots at New Hampshire Motor Speedway open at 08:00 PM on race day. Arriving early not only helps you avoid traffic and long lines but also gives you time to enjoy the pre-race atmosphere around the track.
