TRAVELING BY CAR

Driving is by far the most common way to get to the track. The Speedway is located just off Route 106 in Loudon, New Hampshire, and offers both free and paid parking. On busy race weekends, remote parking areas are served by shuttle buses that drop fans at the gates.

Tips for drivers

• Use GPS or traffic apps to check conditions and choose the best route.
• Plan to arrive early to avoid congestion, especially on race day.
• Follow all posted signs and staff directions for parking.

Driving directions

• From Concord, NH (15 minutes, ~10 miles): Take I-93 to Exit 15E for I-393/US-202 E. Follow NH-106 N directly to the Speedway.
• From Manchester, NH (40 minutes, ~25 miles): Take I-93 N to I-393 E (Exit 15E), then continue on NH-106 N to Loudon.
• From Boston, MA (1 hour 20 minutes, ~75 miles): Take I-93 N to Concord, then I-393 E to NH-106 N, which leads straight to the track.
• From Portland, ME (1 hour 30 minutes, ~80 miles): Take I-95 S to NH-101 W, then I-93 N to I-393 E. From there, follow NH-106 N to the Speedway.

Parking

Most visitors to New Hampshire Motor Speedway arrive by car, and general parking is free on major race weekends. Paid options are also available for fans who want a spot closer to the gates or easier access for tailgating. Parking areas usually open early in the morning (at 8:00 AM on race day), and overnight parking is only allowed in designated camping areas.

Traffic can be heavy before and after big events, so it’s best to plan ahead, arrive early, and follow the signs and staff directions when entering or leaving the Speedway. Rideshare services also operate on race weekends, with drop-off and pick-up zones located near the main entrance.
